Before coming to Broadley Speaking I graduated from Plymouth University with a degree in Marine Biology and Coastal Ecology. Following on from this I spent time as a secondary school teacher specialising in Biology and the sciences. I have also spent time working at a prestigious golf resort, assisting in the day to day management of the course. My background has helped develop strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
My role at Broadley Speaking includes, working alongside the Compass Group UK & Ireland generating new business leads for their corporate security division, VSG and also Chartwells, who specialise in providing catering services to the UK education sector.
Working with the Business Development teams at the Compass Group UK & Ireland I provide support in developing new relationships with senior decision makers within their target markets. I gather intelligence on prospects, assist in marketing campaigns in order to secure face to face meetings.
I also work internally managing our Prospect Management System, Omnia. The system itself is used by all clients of Broadley Speaking and is integral to the day to day functionality of the business.
Working at Broadley speaking has helped me develop a range of skills and knowledge surrounding the complexities of buying decisions across a number of sectors. The Broadley Speaking team work very closely with one another providing the support needed to overcome challenges and develop the skills to further my career.
My colour is blue which means I have an eye for detail, which comes in handy when managing large data sets for our clients. Being blue also means I am inquisitive by nature, helping me build a full understanding of a prospects challenges and individual needs.
Out of work I enjoy spending time by the sea, fishing, kayaking and freediving. I have a strong interest in the world of science and nature, particularly topics surrounding marine conservation.
